ESC [ 9 m
SGR 9 draws a horizontal line through the middle of the text. The sequence is ESC [ 9 m. Used in TUI applications to indicate deleted, deprecated, or completed items. Reset with SGR 29. Widely supported in modern terminals.

The same probe runs against headless backends (via Termless) and real terminal apps (via a daemon launched in each terminal). This lets us distinguish parser correctness from rendering correctness.
