Reset all (SGR 0)

Category: sgr · Baseline: core · Tags: ECMA-48 Standard, VT100 · Specification ↗

ESC [ 0 m
SGR 0 resets all text attributes to their defaults: removes bold, faint, italic, underline, blink, inverse, hidden, strikethrough, overline, and resets foreground and background colors. The sequence is ESC [ 0 m or simply ESC [ m (parameter defaults to 0). Universally supported and the most fundamental SGR sequence.
How this is testedautomated
Send \x1b[1;3;4mX\x1b[0mY, verify the second cell has bold, italic, and underline all cleared.

The same probe runs against headless backends (via Termless) and real terminal apps (via a daemon launched in each terminal). This lets us distinguish parser correctness from rendering correctness.
